A PDF is best. We also take JPG and PNG images, photos straight from your phone (including iPhone photos) and Word documents (.docx). If you design in Canva, download it as “PDF Print”.
Bleed is an extra 3mm of background beyond the edge of your design, so there's no white line if the cut lands slightly out. The safe area is 3mm inside the edge: keep text and logos within it so nothing gets trimmed.
A few products, such as flags and hemmed banners, need more. The template for each size shows exactly where everything goes. If your file has no bleed, we'll spot it in our check and get in touch.

A desk pad is a big notepad that lies flat on a desk, used for jotting notes, planning the week or taking phone messages. Each sheet tears off cleanly from the glued top edge. Offices, receptions and trade counters use them, and they work well as a branded gift for clients.
Choose A3 for a pad that sits in front of a keyboard, or A2 for a large planning sheet. Each can be portrait or landscape, always glued at the top. The paper is uncoated, so any pen writes on it easily: 90gsm is like good copier paper, 120gsm is firmer, and 170gsm is closer to a thin card.
Pads come with 25, 50 or 100 sheets. Print one side, or both if you want something on the back of each sheet too.
Supply one page design and we print it on every sheet in the pad. Use the template for your size and orientation, and remember the top edge is glued, so keep anything important a little way down from it.
Leave plenty of open space for writing. Light tints, faint lines or a weekly grid work better than heavy blocks of colour, which make handwriting hard to read.
