A PDF is best. We also take JPG and PNG images, photos straight from your phone (including iPhone photos) and Word documents (.docx). If you design in Canva, download it as “PDF Print”.
Bleed is an extra 3mm of background beyond the edge of your design, so there's no white line if the cut lands slightly out. The safe area is 3mm inside the edge: keep text and logos within it so nothing gets trimmed.
A few products, such as flags and hemmed banners, need more. The template for each size shows exactly where everything goes. If your file has no bleed, we'll spot it in our check and get in touch.

A desk calendar stands on a desk or counter on its own card base, and you flip a page over each month. Businesses often send them to customers towards the end of the year.
Choose A5 for a good-sized picture and plenty of room for dates, DL for a slim calendar that fits beside a keyboard, or 148mm square for something more compact. For the pages, 250gsm feels like a firm card and 150gsm or 170gsm is lighter. Silk gives photos a smooth finish; uncoated is easier to write appointments on.
Pick 13 single-sided pages for a cover and one month per page. Add a printed back to the last page if you want contact details or a year view there. Or choose 7 pages printed on both sides, which uses fewer sheets.
Send one PDF with the cover first, then each month in order, one page per printed side. Use the template for your size, and keep dates and text well clear of the top edge, where the wire coil goes through.
For the double-sided options, the backs of the pages show when you flip them over, so check which way up you want each side. We'll go through the page order with you before printing.
