A PDF is best. We also take JPG and PNG images, photos straight from your phone (including iPhone photos) and Word documents (.docx). If you design in Canva, download it as “PDF Print”.
Bleed is an extra 3mm of background beyond the edge of your design, so there's no white line if the cut lands slightly out. The safe area is 3mm inside the edge: keep text and logos within it so nothing gets trimmed.
A few products, such as flags and hemmed banners, need more. The template for each size shows exactly where everything goes. If your file has no bleed, we'll spot it in our check and get in touch.

A bookmark is a long, narrow card, 148 × 52mm, that sits between the pages of a book. Authors, bookshops, libraries, schools and churches hand them out, and they get kept and used.
Choose the board by feel. 350gsm silk is a firm card with a smooth, soft sheen. 450gsm silk is noticeably thicker and stiffer. The third choice is 300gsm Invercote board. Print the front only, or both sides if you want text or a design on the back too.
You can laminate the front, or the front and back, in matt, gloss or soft touch, which feels velvety in the hand. Once a bookmark is laminated, you can add raised spot UV to one or both sides, or gold or silver foil to one side.
Set up each side as a single page using the template for your size. Bookmarks are tall and thin, so check your design reads the right way up in portrait before you send it.
