Correx is fluted plastic board, 3.5mm thick, light and waterproof. It's the usual choice for temporary signs such as estate agent boards, event directions and site notices. Foam PVC has a smooth white surface and is made for indoor signs like reception boards, menus and shop displays. 3mm suits smaller signs and those mounted flat on a wall, while 5mm is stiffer for bigger signs or ones that stand up on their own.
Aluminium composite has thin aluminium skins over a plastic core, which keeps a 3mm panel rigid and flat while staying light. Pick it for permanent signs indoors or out: fascias, car park and gate signs, property boards and opening hours. Display boards are 2000 micron fibre board, made without PVC and FSC certified, for indoor point of sale, exhibitions and school or museum displays. The grey core is opaque, so the print holds up in a window.
All four boards come in A4 to A0, inch sizes from 30 × 20 to 60 × 40, or a custom size. Correx, foam and aluminium composite signs can have rounded corners and drilled holes for screws or cable ties. If you choose holes, keep wording and logos back from the edges where they'll be drilled.
Correx and foam signs can be double-sided, useful when a sign is seen coming and going or hangs where both faces show. Aluminium composite and display boards are printed on one side.
Magnetic signs are gloss magnetic vinyl for car and van doors, so you can take your branding off at the end of the day. They only stick to steel, not aluminium or plastic, so check your vehicle and measure the flat part of the panel first. Bollard covers are Correx sleeves that fold into three sides and fit most bollards up to 205mm across, fastening with tabs instead of glue.
Selfie frames are A1 photo props, on 5mm foam PVC for a smooth, easy hold or 3.5mm Correx if they might get wet. Custom shape signs are cut around your design in Correx, foam PVC, aluminium composite or display board. Steer clear of very thin points and narrow necks, which end up weak once the board is cut.
