A business card that opens like a tiny booklet: 85 × 55mm folded, on natural uncoated board, ideal for loyalty stamps or a price list.
From £137.99 for 25
We print two kinds. Business cards are the familiar 85 × 55mm size that slips into a wallet or a card holder, printed on one or both sides. Folded business cards are the same size when closed, but they open out into four small panels.
If your name, number and logo fit comfortably on two sides, a standard card does the job. Go for a folded card when you want people to keep it for what's inside: a price list, your opening hours, a map or a grid for loyalty stamps.
Standard cards come on two boards. 450gsm silk is the thicker one, smooth with a gentle sheen. 350gsm uncoated is slightly thinner and has the feel of natural paper. Uncoated takes a pen easily, so it's the one to pick for appointment cards or anything you'll write on by hand.
Folded cards only come on the 350gsm uncoated board, which works well with ink stamps. They can fold along the long edge or the short one, and you can print the outside only or the inside too.
Coatings and special finishes need 450gsm silk. You can coat it in matt or gloss, or in soft touch for a velvety feel. Once it's coated, one detail such as your logo can be raised in spot UV or picked out in gold or silver foil. Foil is printed on one side, while spot UV can go on either side or both. Uncoated board can't take any of these.
If you want spot UV or foil, tell us in Your reference which part to pick out. We set it up by hand when we check your artwork and confirm it with you before anything is printed.
Standard cards can have square or rounded corners. With rounded corners, keep important details away from them. On a folded card, keep text at least 3mm from the edges and from the crease. Folded cards arrive flat with the crease already made, so they're ready for you to fold.
