A PDF is best. We also take JPG and PNG images, photos straight from your phone (including iPhone photos) and Word documents (.docx). If you design in Canva, download it as “PDF Print”.
Bleed is an extra 3mm of background beyond the edge of your design, so there's no white line if the cut lands slightly out. The safe area is 3mm inside the edge: keep text and logos within it so nothing gets trimmed.
A few products, such as flags and hemmed banners, need more. The template for each size shows exactly where everything goes. If your file has no bleed, we'll spot it in our check and get in touch.

A greeting card is folded once to give four sides: a front cover, an inside spread and a back. Use it for Christmas cards from a business, thank-you cards, charity cards to sell, or an artist's or photographer's own range. The size you pick is the size once it's folded.
Choose 350gsm silk for a smooth card with a soft sheen, 350gsm uncoated for a natural feel that's easy to write a message on, or 300gsm Invercote, a very smooth, stiff board. Silk can be laminated in matt, gloss or soft touch, and a laminated card can have raised spot UV, or gold or silver foil.
Cards fold on the long edge or the short edge. Print one side of the sheet and leave the other plain, or print both. Envelopes are optional: standard 100gsm white, heavier 120gsm luxury, or red.
The template for your size and fold shows the card opened out flat, with the fold marked. Work out which half is the front cover before you design, especially on a short-edge fold, where it's easy to end up with the cover upside down.
Keep text at least 3mm from the fold as well as the edges. If people will write inside, choose front-only lamination so the inside stays easy to write on.
