A PDF is best. We also take JPG and PNG images, photos straight from your phone (including iPhone photos) and Word documents (.docx). If you design in Canva, download it as “PDF Print”.
Bleed is an extra 3mm of background beyond the edge of your design, so there's no white line if the cut lands slightly out. The safe area is 3mm inside the edge: keep text and logos within it so nothing gets trimmed.
A few products, such as flags and hemmed banners, need more. The template for each size shows exactly where everything goes. If your file has no bleed, we'll spot it in our check and get in touch.

Stapled booklets are folded sheets held together with staples through the spine, the way most programmes, brochures, menus, price lists, newsletters and event guides are made. They're light and easy to hand out.
Page counts go from 8 to 72, always in multiples of 4, because each folded sheet makes four pages. The count includes the cover. You can print the cover on the same paper as the inside, or on something heavier such as 250gsm or 350gsm silk so it feels sturdier.
For the inside, silk and gloss show photos crisply, and uncoated is best if people will write on the pages. Bind along the long edge for a standard portrait booklet, or the short edge for landscape. A silk cover can be laminated on the outside or on both sides, then given spot UV or foil.
Send one PDF with every page in reading order, starting with the front cover and ending with the back cover, set up as single pages rather than spreads. Make sure the total is a multiple of 4, adding blank or notes pages if you need to.
Use the template for your size and keep text inside the safe zone. Avoid running small text across the middle of a spread, where the fold and staples sit.
