Bleed is an extra 3mm of background beyond the edge of your design, so there's no white line if the cut lands slightly out. The safe area is 3mm inside the edge: keep text and logos within it so nothing gets trimmed.
A few products, such as flags and hemmed banners, need more. The template for each size shows exactly where everything goes. If your file has no bleed, we'll spot it in our check and get in touch.

A creased leaflet is one sheet with a single crease, giving you four pages: a front cover, a two-page inside spread and a back. It's made for thick paper that's too stiff to go through a folding machine, so it suits menus, programmes, orders of service and price lists that need to feel solid.
Choose 250gsm, which feels like firm card, or 350gsm, which is closer to a postcard. Silk has a soft sheen; uncoated has a natural feel and takes pen well. The crease can run along the long edge or the short edge, and the size you pick is the size once it's folded.
Silk leaflets can be laminated in matt, gloss or soft touch, on the front only or both sides. A laminated leaflet can then have raised spot UV, or gold or silver foil, on a detail.
The template for your size shows the sheet opened out flat, with the crease marked. On a long-edge leaflet the front cover is the right-hand half of the outside spread and the back cover is the left; the inside spread holds pages two and three.
Keep text and logos at least 3mm away from the crease as well as the edges, so nothing disappears into the fold.
