Bleed is an extra 3mm of background beyond the edge of your design, so there's no white line if the cut lands slightly out. The safe area is 3mm inside the edge: keep text and logos within it so nothing gets trimmed.
A few products, such as flags and hemmed banners, need more. The template for each size shows exactly where everything goes. If your file has no bleed, we'll spot it in our check and get in touch.

Instead of a rectangle, these flyers are cut around an outline you choose: your logo, a product, a house, a speech bubble. They suit giveaways, offers and event handouts where the shape itself says what the flyer is about.
They come on 250gsm, which feels like firm card, or 350gsm, closer to a postcard, in silk or uncoated. Silk can be laminated in matt, gloss or soft touch, on the front only or both sides. For the size, enter the width and height of the rectangle your shape fits inside.
You don't need to draw a cutting line. The outline is read from your artwork when it's proofed, so give your shape a clear edge against its background and carry the colour 3mm past that edge for bleed.
Keep text 3mm inside the cut. If a solid colour runs right up to the edge of the shape, leave 4mm instead, so a slight shift in cutting doesn't show.
