Bleed is an extra 3mm of background beyond the edge of your design, so there's no white line if the cut lands slightly out. The safe area is 3mm inside the edge: keep text and logos within it so nothing gets trimmed.
A few products, such as flags and hemmed banners, need more. The template for each size shows exactly where everything goes. If your file has no bleed, we'll spot it in our check and get in touch.

Wiro binding holds the pages with a silver wire coil through a row of punched holes. The booklet opens completely flat and the pages turn all the way round, so it's ideal for manuals, training packs, recipe books, presentations and anything people read on a desk while they work.
Page counts go from 20 to 400. The wire is sized to suit, from 6mm to 14mm across. Choose the inside paper by feel: silk and gloss for photos, uncoated for pages people will write on, and a heavier weight if the pages need to stand up to handling.
The cover is 250gsm or 350gsm silk, or 250gsm uncoated. A silk cover can be laminated in matt, gloss or soft touch to stop it scuffing. Bind along the long edge for a portrait booklet, or the short edge for a landscape one.
Send one PDF with every page in reading order, including the front and back covers, set up as single pages using the template for your size.
The holes are punched 9mm in from the binding edge, so keep text, page numbers and logos well clear of that edge on every page. Remember the binding edge is on the left of right-hand pages and the right of left-hand pages.
